Fitness

Physical activity guidelines for teens recommend that you get 1 hour or more of moderate to strong physical activity daily.
Most of the physical activity should be aerobic, where you use large muscles and continue for a period of time. Examples of aerobic activity are running, swimming, and dancing. Any moderate to strong activity counts toward the 60-minute goal

For Tabata all of the information is on the videos that we sent you. Remember to select 2 upper body, 2 core and 2 lower body activities and after you have done one resistance activity for your 6 times then move on to a cardio activity before picking another resistance activity. Remember to do your best effort. Have a water bottle and a sweat towel!

*This chart can be used however you see fit. If anything they may serve as a reminder that health and wellness are daily pursuits - thus, being mindful of this means taking control of your own physical and mental well-being, especially during challenging or stressful times. Stay strong, stay healthy.

 Sincerely, the QJS PE team
